Having completed her NWO-funded doctoral project, “From Silent Containment to Empowering Rage,” she has developed a sophisticated framework for analyzing the gendered constructions of anger in contemporary picturebooks. Her scholarship integrates intersectional feminism, cognitive linguistics, and multimodal analysis to decode the transmission of social-emotional values to young audiences. Beyond her core research on emotion, she has published extensively on fairy-tale reception and the “willful” child archetype. As a co-founder of the Grow initiative, Rosalyn actively facilitates transnational networks for early-career scholars.
