Elin Stengrundet is an Associate Professor of Norwegian Literature at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, where her scholarly trajectory has transitioned from nineteenth-century canonical studies to the intersection of contemporary ecocriticism and pedagogical practice. Building upon her foundational analysis of Henrik Wergeland’s poetic legacy and the ideological underpinnings of textile materiality in her 2021 monograph on Wadmol, her recent research critically examines the representation of precarious male youth. This work, conducted within the framework of the “Welfare under Scrutiny” project, interrogates sociocultural dimensions of marginalization in contemporary Norwegian letters.
