Ana Margarida Ramos
Ana Margarida Ramos (PhD) is a Full Professor at the Department of Languages and Cultures at the University of Aveiro (Portugal), where she teaches Portuguese Children’s Literature, Literary Theory and Reading Promotion in several graduate and post-graduate courses, including a PhD Program in Literary Studies, which she directs. She is also the Head of the Department of Languages and Cultures at the same university. She supervised several PhD and Master Thesis in Children’s Literature. She was a visiting scholar at Oslo Metropolitan University (2019) and was awarded with a Fellowship by the Youth International Library (2019). She is a Full Researcher of the Research Centre for Languages, Literatures and Cultures of the University of Aveiro. She organised several national and international conferences, including, in 2015, The Child and The Book – Fractures and Disruptions in Children’s Literature (Aveiro, Portugal). She is a member of several national and international projects, and research networks in Portugal, Spain, and Latin America. She’s co-author of Syllabus, Texts Books and Teachers Guides of a school subject, in East-Timor Secondary Schools, related with Literature and Culture.
