For the sixth edition of the project “Silent Books. Destination Lampedusa” (2023), with the collaboration of IBBY International and its National Sections, an Honour list of silent books was selected from more than 70 books from 22 countries.

In this edition, the following made up the jury: Marnie Campagnaro (Associate Professor of Children’s and Young Adult Literature at the University of Padua), Deborah Soria (bookseller and project manager of the IBBY Lampedusa Library), Sualzo (illustrator), Silvia Vecchini (author and poet), and Giulia Soria (Art Laboratory at Palazzo delle Esposizioni, Rome).

From a rich and varied range of views and approaches, 15 silent books were selected to compose the honour list.
