Wordless books as a cross linguistic public resource
The sixth edition of Silent Books. Destination Lampedusa selected an Honour List of fifteen wordless books from more than seventy submissions and twenty two countries, in collaboration with IBBY International and its National Sections.
Marnie Campagnaro served on the jury together with Deborah Soria, Sualzo, Silvia Vecchini and Giulia Soria.
The international selection process, the Honour List and the visual language of silent books form the centre of this contribution.
