Soma Das is a Doctoral candidate with CIRCL, who completed the MRes in Children’s Literature in 2018 and is currently enrolled part-time on the PhD programme at the University of Reading. Soma has given a number of conference papers, published a chapter on the construction of race in the Harry Potter series, and her doctoral research is on ideas of time in children’s literature.
